Hydrogen Sulfide is a toxic gas that can dissolve in water, accumulation of H2S in ponds usually marked with black silt smell like typical rotten eggs. The main source is the result of decomposition remnants of plankton, shrimp, dirt and other organic materials.
In Anaerobic conditions, some bacteria are able to use the compound heterotrof-organic sulfur compound and inorganic sulphate as energy, so that the ion produce sulfur (S2). Sulfur ions form the next dissociation reactions that produce H2S poison.

Resources toxic H2S depending on the temperature, pH and oxygen dissolved. In the pH value of more than 9, almost all of sulfuric acid berdisosiasi into ions and H-S2, which is not toxic. Conversely down to less than 5, the reaction shift to the right, and most of sulfuric acid (H2S) in the form of a fixed-toxic.
Safe concentration of sulfuric acid for shrimp is less than 0.1 ppm. Increasing the content of sulfuric acid in the ponds can be prevented with the remaining sewage disposal routine, the use of Aeration significant increase in pH and water.
